A’s Lawn and Landscaping - September 4, 2019

Ahhh yeah! This is a good one! Great edit bro! Can’t wait for part 2!

BEOD357 - September 4, 2019

Great Video Brah! I timed mine perfect for early domination of Halloween. Looks terrible right now but I’ve been planning this for 6months!

    Budget Lawns - September 4, 2019

Did you say Halloween? Holy smokes, can’t believe it’s just right around the corner. Hope your plan works out just right!

    BEOD357 - September 4, 2019

Budget Lawns Yes you read right! I overseeded 01Sep19. I’m in Northern MD so I’m ahead of the 70 Degree bench mark by about 13 Days. With my historical first frost being around 20 Oct 19 and First Freeze around 02 Nov 19 I landed on the 01Sep19 for best results. I am able to irrigate daily and throughout the day if needed but we’ve been getting nice cloud covers and rain showers with temperatures in the mid 80s and steady declining. Fingers Crossed and hoping for the best!

    Budget Lawns - September 4, 2019

@BEOD357 sounds like you’ve got a great plan. Well mapped out. No doubt, a great plan usually lends to great results! Best of luck to ya. Keep us posted.

Same situation here. Except I had to only seed shaded areas because it’s still just a bit too hot soil temp wise here. Soil temp still 80 during the day here in KC and averaging about 76. I had planned to do it all today but I think I’m going to have to wait another week…

    Budget Lawns - September 4, 2019

@Mikebike68 Good point! Always great to know the historical data! Even though it still feels like summer out there, you can bet, history usually closely follows itself!

Hong Situ - September 4, 2019

If your day temps are consistently below 80 and night time is 70 or below you are good to go. And just water.

Matt Magurean - September 4, 2019

Good stuff BRUH!!

Greg Toutges - September 4, 2019

Great job Jake! Looking forward to the next one.

Peter Bergeris - September 4, 2019

So can I seed at 70 degrees or do I wait 45 days when 70 hits and seed at 55 degrees.

Jake The Lawn Kid - September 4, 2019

    Goes like this..
    1. Seed at 70
    2. Make sure you have 45 days for soil temperatures to descend to 55.

Tommy Hayes - September 4, 2019

Definitely looking forward to part 2. Thanks bro

thelaC100 - September 4, 2019

Would it make sense to over seed my lawn , wait 3 weeks and then spray prodiamine

Jake The Lawn Kid - September 4, 2019

I’ll touch on that in a future video. Stay tuned!

    Mikebike68 - September 4, 2019

    Good question.

Greg Egan - September 4, 2019

cch068 - September 4, 2019

Hello Jake, can you go into some detail on why are you overseeding and aerating when your grass already looks lush and in great shape? are there thin spots you are trying to take care of? or just doing it for content?

Bryan Rosa - September 5, 2019

Keep bringing it Jake.

Various - September 5, 2019
