Hi John, commenting here because comments are turned off on the metal drilling video. Have you ever experimented with heating the metal with a torch before drilling? Assuming the piece able to be heated and not attached to something flammable, meltable, or explosive. I am curious about that maybe i will try. My thought is usually metal gets softer and more pliable the hotter it gets so perhaps more drillable… idk

You are the first to actually convince me to think about joining the Makers Mob. I appreciate your posting the projects here, and posting the details there makes sense to me.

But when I went there, it’s unclear what I’m getting. $20 for… Just your stuff? For everything? When I go to the main URL, it deliberately hides all pricing information until you sign up, which is a serious red flag for me.

So I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the hard work you put into this channel, but Makers Mob could probably be doing better for you if they were more up-front about their subscriptions.

Absolutely beautiful cabinetry work.  Would love to make these for my kitchen.  Great video, thumbs up John.

MrMaritoJavier - February 2, 2020

Beautiful. Those would go just fine in a high end kitchen or den. The fact you take such care for a shop cabinet speaks to your attention to quality and your skill.

Great video John! I just finished building 15 shakers doors and drawer fronts…it’s a labor of love (or maybe hate)!

7:52 Heisz with a respirator!?!?! Sure sign of the end-times when T-shirt respy isn’t good enough.

steve walker - February 2, 2020

It’s coming together very nicely, John

Jonathan Mansinger - February 2, 2020

Bravo sir! Those are absolutely beautiful!

Pat Lap - Le PicBois - February 2, 2020

John video is amazing as usual, but wow that new logo is just insane!

Roy Arisse - February 2, 2020

Top notch, both the woodwork as the editing, and I like the new logo style!

Roberto Alfonso - February 2, 2020

Hey John, great work as always! Wish there were such detailed carpenters down here!

Since you named a few woodworkers, would you make a list of those you watch/respect/appreciate at the scrap bin? Each appeals to certain viewers, personally I watch Frank but find Jimmy unappealing somehow. Thanks!

Francisco Antonio Pesce Neto - February 3, 2020

Excelente trabalho, me ajudou bastante!!!

The Other Marshal - February 3, 2020

This has been a fun project to follow, John… and the results are impressive, as they always are on your channel. Thanks for sharing!

I liked the plywood fence when cutting the 1/4″ plywood. I like your construction design for doors. The raised frame allows for decorative epoxy to be poured if you’re into working with epoxy.

Making Adventure - February 4, 2020
