Do you have running water out there at the earth hut?
Your video’s are awesome, keep it up 🙂
@Dirtbag Builder Since you’re making the kitchen counter, are you making the hut into a long term shelter of a sort?
@Anton Trier define long term? I sometimes spend months at a time out here, but I would hate to spend the winter here.
@Dirtbag Builder long term as in; are you thinking of building a well of some sort? some sort of agriculture? Carpentry work bench?
Just to let you know. I’m not asking these questions because I think I know better, I don’t, I just think you’re entire project is really amazing and in a direction of something I want to be able to do. So I’m basically just curious about what your vision is of that project 🙂
@Anton Trierthank you for your interest and I appreciate everyones comments.
Unfortunately I have other obligations that dont allow me to live here full time. Also after 3 or 4 months of near complete isolation, Iam usually ready to see people again.
I had a full cabinet shop with heavy duty tools in the past, including a nice handmade bench. I have found I would rather have something I can pound nails into and cut saw kerfs into the top without worry of damaging a fine piece of furniture. Also, for this video series I have decided I would rather show what hardworking and thinking can produce with just a shovel and a few hand tools in tools rather than a backhoe and a cabinet shop with $20,000 in tools.
I have some other projects and videos planned for when I get back to my other home and will continue to focus on working with a minimum of tools so keep tuned in.
@Dirtbag Builder I will definitely keep tuning in for every video you upload 🙂
