Miter Saw Station Build + Radial Arm Saw – Cabinets & Top & Fence

For a long time I have wanted to build a miter saw station and incorporate my radial arm saw into it so they share a long fence and bench top. I planned it a long time ago… replanned it… and tweaked it… and dreamed of building it. I came into a bunch of free plywood not too long ago and decided this would be the perfect way to use it. So I got the plans all ready, broke it up into phases since I have limited time to pull the project off, and started building phase one… the cabinets and bench top.

In this video I go through the process I used and the plan I have. I show the basic construction design of the cabinets I am building and how I used the Jay Bates cabinet levelers with t-nuts and carriage bolts.

    I am building a Thien baffle for a shop vac and a 5 gallon bucket to fit under for now. I am planning a whole shop dust collection system here in the future but don’t have it yet.

    I appreciate that. I have done some VO professionally in my life but have not done an audiobook as of yet. I did not set up the radial arm saw to be able to rip cut. I have a table saw that I like and I just use the radial arm saw to cross cut boards too wide for the miter saw mostly. I would love to see what you do for yours when it’s done.

This is on my list of builds. I pretty much have the same requirements (miter saw and radial arm saw). I’ve got them on the same wall now but saving up for the build…eventually.
